Three Covers That You’ve Most Likely Already Seen But That I Am Posting Anyways

Yes, I am well aware that these following covers have been circulating through blogland at an incredible pace this past week.  I am showing them here too because I said I would in previous posts.  Plus, these are two pretty big covers and they are nice so worth a second (or fifth or ninth) look, don’t you think?

The first is for the highly anticipated fourth installment in Stacia Kane’s Downside Ghosts series, Sacrificial Magic.  Take a look:

When Chess Putnam is ordered by an infamous crime boss—who also happens to be her drug dealer—to use her powers as a witch to solve a grisly murder involving dark magic, she knows she must rise to the challenge. Adding to the intensity: Chess’s boyfriend, Terrible, doesn’t trust her, and Lex, the son of a rival crime lord, is trying to reignite the sparks between him and Chess.Plus there’s the little matter of Chess’s real job as a ghost hunter for the Church of Real Truth, investigating reports of a haunting at a school in the heart of Downside. Someone seems to be taking a crash course in summoning the dead—and if Chess doesn’t watch her back, she may soon be joining their ranks.

As Chess is drawn into a shadowy world of twisted secrets and dark violence, it soon becomes clear that she’s not going to emerge from its depths without making the ultimate sacrifice.

I LOVE this cover!  The cover model looks more like what I picture Chess to look like.  But I did love the first three covers in this series too.  Loved the colors!  Sacrificial Magic is due out March 27th 2012.

The next cover is for the sixth book in Chloe Neill’s Chicagoland Vampires series, Biting Cold.

No blurb yet, but I’ll be sure to post it when one becomes available.  Biting Cold is due to hit shelves in August 2012.  But don’t worry!  Drink Deep is due out November 1st 2011.  I swear everything better play out the way I hope it will in that one because I want to read Biting Cold starting from a happy place and not the slightly panicked place I am now while waiting to read Drink Deep

Finally, there is the cover for the ninth book in Gena Showalter’s Lords of the Underworld series, The Darkest Seduction.  Paris’ book!!!

Possessed by the demon of Promiscuity, immortal warrior Paris is irresistibly seductive-but his potent allure comes at a terrible price. Every night he must bed someone new, or weaken and die. And the woman he craves above all others is the one woman he’d thought was forever beyond his reach…until now.

Newly possessed by the demon of Wrath, Sienna Blackstone is racked by a ruthless need to punish those around her. Yet in Paris’s arms, the vulnerable beauty finds soul-searing passion and incredible peace. Until a blood feud between ancient enemies heats up.Will the battle against gods, angels and creatures of the night bind them eternally-or tear them apart?

I LOVE this cover!  Who knew becoming a demon carrier would make Sienna so sexy?!  And Paris?!  *swoon*  I am so excited for February 21st 2012 because that is when The Darkest Seduction hits shelves.  But this is another series that won’t leave you hanging since The Darkest Surrender, Strider’s book, comes out this Tuesday, September 27th 2011!

Happy Weekend!

  1. *sigh* oh Paris. I know that books going to be an emotional one but I still can’t wait for it.

  2. Vicki Casso says:

Cool covers! Bet we don’t get a blurb on Biting Cold until Drink Deep is out. Hope all works out in that series, I’m going to be so disappointed if it doesn’t.

  3. I actually haven’t seen any of these and all 3 are soooo purty! 😀

LOVE the Darkest Seduction cover sooo much better than the previous ones. Been really looking forward to this book anyway.

    Thanks for posting Julie!

  4. Biting Cold is the best cover of the series – and I love the crossroads and that she’s outside of the city. Thought provoking! So different from the Drink Deep cover. What’s with the ring?

  5. Paranormal Haven – I agree. I’m assuming we’ll need to stock up on the Kleenex before reading it.

    Vicki – I’ll be disappointed too. 🙁

Rhianna – I love Paris’ cover! Although I must say that I’m not minding the cover for Darkest Surrender. He is such a pretty boy… 😉

dannika – The ring! I hadn’t even noticed it! Now I’m also wondering what that is all about…lol.

  6. I actually hadn’t seen these covers until I came to your blog. (Of course, then I saw them everywhere else!) Thanks for posting!!!

  7. What fabulous covers! I don’t care if everyone and their Mother AND Grandmother have seen a cover, if I LOVE it then I post it! LOL. I hadn’t seen the cover for the new Chicago Land Vampires yet but it looks flipping awesome! I can’t wait for Paris’ book…I’m going to have to post what I always think of in my mind when Sienna is talked about. 🙂 It’s slightly funny. Thanks for sharing! I love looking at covers…especially ones that are put together well!

  8. Paris. SIGH. Finally we get his story. It’s going to a great one fo’ sho.
