News – New Covers From Lauren, Darynda and Amanda!

I love book covers.  I love them even more when they are shiny and new – like these three that I came across this past week.
The first cover I’m going to share with you is for the first book in Lauren Dane’s Brown Siblings series spin-off, TartTart is book one in the Delicious series.  Well, really it’s the first full-length novel in that series – Lauren will be releasing a Delicious novella in the duology she is releasing in August 2012 with Maya Banks.  I am excited for this series.

Juliet Lamprey is having the time of her life running her successful bakery, TART, when Gideon Carter comes back into her life. Returning home to help his grandfather run the family on the farm, Gideon is back for good. When they meet again, the spark between them is immediate, and it isn’t long before the former childhood friends play catch up in bed.

That’s not good news for local lawyer Cal Whaley. Though the sexually open but strictly monogamous Cal has loved Jules for a long time, he’s hardly ever taken it further than friendship. When he sees her start to fall for Gideon, he knows he has to make his move or risk losing her forever.

Who would have anticipated that all three of them would connect on such an intimate level? The trio’s scalding liaisons take them places they’ve never dreamed. But such an intensely passionate and unusual relationship comes with equally as complicated emotions, and when Jules must suddenly leave town, she wonders if she’ll have a choice to make when she returns

Cherished (the duology with Maya Banks) hits stores August 21st 2012 and Tart follows it sometime in November 2012.

Next up is the cover for the fourth installment in Darynda Jones’ smart and funny Charley Davidson series, Fourth Grave Beneath My Feet.

The cover is green!  We don’t see many green covers – and I like it!  I really enjoy the covers in this series – they are some of my favorite.  I find they represent the series perfectly.

No blurb yet (which makes sense because the third book, Third Grave Dead Ahead, isn’t releasing until January 31st 2012) and but I’ll try to remember to post them when they become available.  Fourth Grave Beneath My Feet is due out sometime this fall.

And finally a cover I find absolutely stunning.  I’ll just show it to you and then I’ll tell you about it.  Check it out:

Pretty, right?  This cover is for Blood Before Sunrise, the second installment in Amanda Bonilla’s Shaede Assassin series.  The first book, Shaedes of Gray was one of my favorite reads of 2011 and I am super looking forward to this second book. Here’s the blurb:

“She needed a bargaining chip and this was it. Raif’s daughter’s life for hers. And he knew damn good and well I was right. Just like he’d assured me the night I’d killed Azriel, this was far from over. His daughter was alive, I knew it. And I was going to find her.”

For months Darian and her Shaede guardian Raif have searched for the Oracle who attempted to overthrow the Shaede Nation—and kill Darian in the bargain. But now that they’ve finally found the half-crazed Oracle, for their efforts they are granted a possibility too painful for Raif to imagine, and too enticing for Darian to ignore.

Darian is determined to reunite Raif and the daughter he thought was dead, but her mission quickly proves dangerous when her lover Tyler is almost killed. And when a brooding and mysterious Fae warrior offers his guidance—at an extraordinary price—Darian finds herself willing to risk everything. As her single-minded hunt turns into an obsession, and she and Tyler grow further apart, Darian finds herself caught between the man she loves like a brother, and the man whose love she can’t live without…

Really, I can’t wait.  Blood Before Sunrise is due to hit shelves July 3rd 2012.  Only 171 days to go.  *Le Sigh* 😉

  1. pretty!! Really love the Dane one!

  2. I’m not sure about Darynda Jones’ cover, it’s too green! lol
I like Amanda Bonilla’s but the girl looks so different from previous cover that it looks as if she was a different characters and not Darian. I don’t know what to think about that.
    The Tart cover… looks yummy!

  3. I love the green but that cover loses the cheekiness of the others that fit the story so well. The other two are fantastic. Not having read Amanda Bonilla yet, I have no idea if it’s fitting but it is definitely eye catching

  4. I love the cover for Tart. Very delicious!

  5. Love these covers! I just got another smack in the head about the fact that I REALLY need to start reading the Charley Davidson series!!! I have books 1 and 2 sitting on my shelf right now and they are definite must reads for me in 2012!!! 😀

  6. Not so crazy about the 4th Grave cover, though it does fit the overall flow of all the covers, but since I know how awesome the pages in-between will be, the cover could be uglier than sin & I wouldn’t care!

Blood Before Sunrise is a gorgeous cover…wish I liked the series, but I couldn’t even finish Shaedes of Gray. The covers are beautiful though.
