AAD Author Spotlight: Interview with Trinity Blacio plus giveaway

This week is my twentieth Authors After Dark Spotlight!  Who is my special guest this week?  Trinity Blacio!

Questions about AAD:
Have you attended Authors After Dark before or are you an AAD virgin like me?

I am so a virgin like you and I can’t wait to go!

What are you most looking forward to at AAD2012?

Well, I’d be lying if I didn’t say New Orleans, but yes that is a big plus for me. Another aspect would be the authors that run this, Stella and all of them are amazing people.

Which author(s) attending AAD2012 are you most looking forward to meeting?

P.J. Schnyder, she is amazing. Her energy, her books just inspire me to get my butt moving.

Questions about your WRITING and READING HABITS:
What did you do when you found out you were being published for the first time?

Drove to my mothers and showed her the contract, after I screamed and calmed down though.

Of all of the books you’ve written, which is your favorite?

The first three books in my series, Running In Fear. At one time they were one book. Escape, Abandoned and Coming Home.

Have you ever written a scene that made you blush?

Yes, it isn’t published yet, wrote it a while again. It involved a saw horse, which was made into a sexual toy.

Who was your favorite hero or heroine to write?

Remi LeBlathe from my Running In Fear series. God that man is amazing!

Who is your favorite hero or heroine to read?

Vane, in Sherrilyn Kenyon’s book, Night Play.  Amazing story, have read it at least four times.

Have you ever been surprised by a reader’s reaction to a scene that you wrote – either good or bad?

I’m always surprised at a reader’s reaction. It never amazes me when I get a note from a reader asking when the next book is going to be out, when one was just published.

Have you always been a reader or are you like me and got turned off by the mind-numbingly boring deep and multi-layered books you had to read in High School only to ‘find’ reading again as an adult?

I have always loved reading. I did stop for a while after high school, but once I started again my collection of books grew and grew.

What book do you most remember having read in High School?

Of Mice and Men, read it and cried, then we had to watch the movie in class too. Cried then too, so sad.

Questions about YOU:
What is your favorite movie?

I would have to say Avatar. Amazing story and movie.

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?

Butter pecan.

Are you a morning person or a night owl?

Morning.

Tell us something people might be surprised to learn about you?

Ran away from home at the age of fifteen and joined a traveling carnival.

Question about your UPCOMING RELEASE(S):
You have a new series titled Bound in Witchcraft.  Tell us about it.

I wanted to do a witch and warlock story and one day the series more or less popped in my head. I have always loved reading books on BDSM. These books will be centered on fourteen sanctuaries for witches and warlocks, but they also happen to be private clubs.

The first book, Charmed by my Masters, was just released!  What should readers expect when from it?

A fast paced book, hot, ménage, and very strong characters. I’ve tried to make the heroine, Blair appear more realistic. A strong sibling role is portrayed in the tale, which will continue in the next few books.

The seventh book (Woot book number seven!) in your Running in Fear series, New Beginnings Jubilee, was released in January.  Tell us about your series and about your newest installment.

I wanted to make number seven a celebration type book, bringing in all the main characters. Building on them to continue the series and yes there will be a number eight. Actually I got the idea for number eight when I was working on a blog for one of AAD promotions.

The Running In Fear series is my baby. It has a touch of everything in it. Every book is a ménage and will always have the main characters from other books in it. We have shifters, vampires, demons, dragons, and gods. I’ve slowly created a new world, in the last few books, to add a touch of Science fiction.  Erotic in so many different ways.

Thank you very much Trinity for taking the time to answer my questions today.  :)
