Questions – Your Most Anticipated Books of 2014

Question Visual Again

Yes, I am aware that there is less than two months left to the year but I thought it would be interesting to ask this question anyway.

At the beginning of a new year, when asked this Question, everyone had TONS to say.  A new year means hundreds of books to wait for.  Now, with only a few weeks left, there are not as many.  Are there any books that have not come out yet but that will soon that you are really looking forward to?

For me, my most anticipated books from now until the end of the year are Tainted Blood by ML Brennan (which comes out tomorrow and yes, I have read it and WOW) and A Secret to Die For by Sierra Dean, which comes out December 16th (and yes, I have read that one too and, to me, it’s the PERFECT way to end the series!)

What about you guys…what are your most anticipated books for the remainder of 2014?

  1. I don’t know, that is a tough one. Witch with No Name, but I don’t think it supposed to come out this year. They pushed the release date up. Burn for Me to see what Ilona Andrews had in store for us with a new series. Murder of Crows by Anne Bishop and The Book of Life by Deborah Harkness.

  2. Mine are Light My Fire (Dragon Kin), by G.A. Aiken; Scenes from the City, by Penny Reid; Shadowed Heart, by Laura Florand; and Four Nights with the Duke, by Eloisa James. There may be more, but those are my pre-orders. Courtney Milan has several books announced as coming out yet this year as part of a new Worth series, Once Upon a Marquess and Her Every Wish, which I will snap up when they appear. Tiffany Reisz has another coming next month, The King, and if my book budget can strain to fit it in, I’ll probably jump on that too. Yikes!

  3. Mine (that I’ve remembered to track on Goodreads) are:

Tainted Blood (American Vampire #3) by ML Brennan (today)
Light My Fire (Dragon Kin #7) by G.A. Aiken (Nov 25th)
Revenant (Demonica #11) by Larissa Ione (Dec 16th)
Game Plan (Neighbor from Hell #5) by R.L. Mathewson (Dec 27th)

I’m on the fence about Darkest Touch (Lords of the Underworld #11) by Gena Showalter (Nov 25th). Her writing has changed since surviving illness and re-finding God a few years back.

@Melanie: Your books are all available already by the way. Even “Witch with No Name” came out in September, unless you’re in another country with delayed releases.

  4. I’m with you with A Secret to Die For by Sierra Dean. I’ve heard the villain is brilliant! 🙂
