News – Covers!

Covers galore released this week.  Okay, two really.

We finally have a cover for the next Cat & Bones book!

“This Side of the Grave”, the fifth installment in Jeaniene Frost’s ‘Night Huntress’ series is due in stores February 22nd 2011.  The cover and the stepback are beautiful.  And Bones’ abs are really something… *drool*
Here’s the blurb from Goodreads:

“Danger waits on both sides of the grave…

Half-vampire Cat Crawfield and her vampire husband Bones have fought for their lives, as well as for their relationship. But just when they’ve triumphed over the latest battle, Cat’s new and unexpected abilities threaten to upset a long-standing balance…

With the mysterious disappearance of vampires, rumors abound that a species war is brewing. A zealot is inciting tensions between the vampires and ghouls, and if these two powerful groups clash, innocent mortals could become collateral damage. Now Cat and Bones are forced to seek help from a dangerous “ally”—the ghoul queen of New Orleans herself. But the price of her assistance may prove more treacherous than even the threat of a supernatural war. …to say nothing of the repercussions Cat never imagined.”

And Nalini Singh has released her latest ‘Guild Hunters’ cover.

“Archangel’s Consort”, the third book featuring Elena and Raphael, is due out January 25th 2011.
Here’s the blurb from Goodreads:

“When vampire hunter Elena Deveraux became an angel, with magnificent wings the colours of midnight and dawn, it turned her world upside down. Her lover, the stunningly dangerous archangel Raphael, is used to being in control even when it comes to the woman he considers his own.

But Elena has never done well with authority …especially not when it seems Raphael is the one who needs her help. The archangels may be almost all-powerful, but there are some things that only a Guild Hunter can get done, and Elena and Raphael may be heading for their most dangerous investigation yet.”

OMG!  I love this series.  Raphael is delicious.  Actually, I love both of these series.  The heros are fantastic and very dream-worthy and the heroines are kick-ass to the best degree.  Mark your calendars.  Now you may have to wait until release day to catch these installments, but you can read the first few books in the series now!

Happy Weekend!
