This past week, Gini Koch released the cover for the third book in her Katherine “Kitty” Katt series, “Alien in the Family”.  It’s coming to stores April 5th 2011.  Isn’t the artwork eye-catching?!

But first, we get to look forward to book number two in the series, “Alien Tango”, coming to stores December 7th 2010.  Here’s the blurb:

“It’s been five months since marketing manager Katherine “Kitty” Katt started working with the aliens from Alpha Centauri, and she and Jeff Martini are getting closer. But when an experimental spacecraft is mysteriously returned to the Kennedy Space Center, Kitty and the rest of her team are called in to investigate. Now the team must survive murderous attacks, remove a space entity from a group of astronauts, and avoid an unhinged woman with a serious crush on Kitty’s high school boyfriend. And that’s all before evil masterminds decide Kitty’s extermination is vital.”

I read Gini’s first book “Touched by an Alien” and found it was a fun story with a little bit of campiness thrown it.  Very different in a super cute way!  I’m definitely going to read the rest of the series as the books are released.

I find the covers in this series are just beautiful!  They are designed by Daniel Dos Santos.  If the artwork looks slightly familiar, it’s probably because Dan also does the covers for Patricia Briggs’ Mercedes Thompson and Alpha & Omega books, as well as Diana Rowland’s “Secrets of the Demon” among others.  He is so talented, he makes me wish I could draw something other than stick figure families. :/

  1. OH no. I already had a crush on these books. On Martini. Now I may have a crush on the artist himself, too.

  2. Amber – The art is great…and so is Martini! 😀
