Question – What Is The Hottest Book You’ve Read This Year?

Short and sweet this week.  After awarding “Sweet Temptation” by Maya Banks my award for “The Book That Had Me Running to Take a Cold Shower Many Times”, I’m wondering:

What is the hottest book you’ve read this year?

  1. This is such a great question! I discovered her last year, but if you haven’t read her, try Larissa Ione. Her demonica series is smokin hot! I just read Backstage Pass by Olivia Cunning and loved it. I finally read Lauren Dane, and Oh My! Vivian Arend has a series of EBooks that can’t be missed.

    I know I’m leaving someone out…

  2. I don’t think I want to contemplate my no. 1 hottest book of 2010 but I know a few books that will aim for the spot: Contemp.Romance: Olivia Cunning – Backstage Pass / Dark Erotica: Kele Moon – Beyond Eden / M/M: Marqueste & Vashtan – SOLDIERS (Bk 1 in Special Forces series)/ Historical Romance: Lisa Valdez – PATIENCE / Paranormal Erotic Romance: Joey W Hill – The Mark Of The Vampire Queen

and these books are just the ones I can think of right now…I have to really delve in to my folders if I haven’t missed any other hot reads 😉

  3. This is too hard! From the top of my head nothing comes to mind. I’ve read some great books and even some amazing books but nothing really kicked it up to that level for me.
Will have to go and think about this some more and try and come up with something!

  4. Colette – I have read the Demonica books. Very steamy. I just ordered Backstage Pass and am really looking forward to reading it. Sounds fun! 🙂

Leontine – I haven’t read any of the books you listed! lol I’m going to have to check them out! 🙂

Ally – I know what the hottest book you’ve read is. It’s the review you posted today. It’s Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. Okay…maybe not. 😉

  5. If you like some kink with your hotness, the Club Shadowlands series by Cherise Sinclair is fantastic. She writes true erotic romance with lots of emotion to go along with the sexiness.

  6. Iron Duke. Rhys really loves to go downtown. 😉

  7. Cara McKenna’s Willing Victim.

I read lots, I read lots of hot stuff. But this one… I almost burnt my fingers on the book. People talk about their hearts racing; this is THE ONLY BOOK in recent memory (I’m talking YEARS) that made my heart beat faster when I read it.

And it’s got a sense of humor too.

  8. Must go with Release by Beth Kery

  9. Yikes, after reading everyone else’s answers there’s no way I’m going to say mine. Maybe mine would be classified “erotica”.
    *blushes shamelessly*

  10. Jen – I’ll have to check Cherise out on Goodreads. I don’t know her stuff, and if it’s that hot…well! 🙂

Katie – Oh good. I have Iron Duke on order!

Missy Ann – I have heard fantastic things about that book! 🙂

blodeuedd – I’ve seen that one around. Looks good.

Spinecracker – You really shouldn’t be shy. We all read smut…you are not alone! Almost all of the books mentioned above are erotica titles. 😉

  11. Hottest I think is Vampire Trinity by Joey Hill…but I will have to examine my goodreads list to see if I missed one….

  12. Mandi – I checked my Goodreads list to see which one was the hottest! lol

  13. Every March is “March Menage Month” on my blog and that month usually has the hottest books. The hottest books I’ve read this year are “Soul Mates: Bound by Blood” by Jourdan Lane (MM romance), “Sweet Caroline” by Lissa Matthews (erotic ebook), and “Backstage Pass” by Olivia Cunning(erotic romance).

My favorite hot re-read is “Colters’ Woman” by Maya Banks – it’s a Panties-On-Fire read. *grin*

    🙂

    MsM

  14. Ok, hands down the steamiest book I’ve ever read is Babysitting the Baumgartners. It was basically sexy from beginning to end. But not in a HEA way. Hot, and a little wrong.

    {please don’t judge} hee hee

  15. Elizabeth – I love the Maya Banks books that I have read, but I’m yet to pick up her ‘Colters’ series. I have book one on my Kobo waiting for me though… 🙂

Spinecracker – I checked you pick on Goodreads…sounds steamy! Nice choice! 😉

  16. Three votes for my Sinners. Woo hoo!
    😉
