Silly Stuff – Books That Make Me Wonder About Publishers

These books from Awful Library Books just prove that sometimes, publishers aren’t quite the best judges of what is a good idea to publish. Some of these books just made me scratch my head. Some of these books made my jaw drop. Some of these books just made me laugh. Hopefully, they will have the same affects on you. Enjoy!

Ew.  Just, ew.

I get what they are trying to say here, but c’mon!  The title is just bad.

Thank goodness this book was published.  I mean those damn pigeons!  *shakes fist*  Now this book shows me how to properly “eliminate” them!  (I can’t believe that someone hated pigeons so much that they wrote this book let alone someone agreed with them and published it!)

Too easy 😉

Yes, because a book is how everyone should learn to fly a plane!?

*jaw hits the ground*

Evil Beatles…lol

  1. These are really weird books! With the worst title names ever! The how to fly a 747 made me giggle though! 🙂

  2. Some of those titles just made my mouth drop open in disbelief. You really do have to wonder what the publisher was thinking, don’t you? Fun post!

  3. Ally – The plane one is my favorite. 🙂

Colette – That out of all the people who were involved in making this book…not one of them thought to re-do the titles. That’s what shocked me the most!

  4. Quite disturbing!

  5. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen the first book at my grandmas before

…and I secretly really want the last book… seriously 🙂

  6. Heather – Disturbing is a good word for them…

    Spinecracker – Really?! Okay then…lol

  7. Oh finally!! I’ve have been wondering how to make pigeons pay for like…ever!! Now, I will know the secrets. You think there’s a Kindle version?

Oh and uh Julie? Stay Hard man. Stay Hard.

  8. Is that an asparagus, mushroom and carrot sandwich!?! My heart can’t take it…..

  9. LOL, you think I’m bizarre now. 😀
…I think it’d be a cool part of my Beetle book collection hahaha
