My Life’s Quirks – Songs My Daughter Sings…All The Time!

Kids love to sing.  My daughter is no exception.  She sings while playing.  She sings while we’re driving.  She sings while eating.  It’s actually really nice…except for lately.  You see, she seems to be stuck on the same three songs.  She sings these same three songs all the live long day!  You’re probably thinking “Geez Julie…what’s so wrong with that?!”  What’s wrong with that?  Well, you won’t ask me that after you hear the three songs…and lucky for you, I found all three songs on YouTube.

That was the first one.  It could be worst.

I used to watch that show (Passe Partout) when I was little.  Actually, it first aired when I was a kid (as you can tell by the funky 70’s style).  And again with that song, it could be worst.

That is the third song.  And no, it can’t get much worst than that.

So there you have it.  The reason why I keep telling my daughter to go watch tv.  I love it, love it when she sings…but I just wish she got some new songs stuck in her head.  Because the worst part of all of this is, once she sings one of these songs, it gets stuck in my head.  For days.

Songs my daughter sings…all the time!  Just another one of my life’s quirks.

  1. Wow you are pure evil you know *sings I am a gummy bear in my head*
    Evil evil you 😉

  2. I did not click the vids-I won’t fall for your evil plan. lol But I feel for you. When my kidlet was tiny it was the Wiggles and Tele tubbies. Same songs. All. Day. Long. *thud*

  3. You know all three songs have to do with things you eat. What is the significance of that, I wonder? 😉

  4. blodeuedd – It could be worst. It could be the ‘Peanut Butter Jelly’ song… *shiver*

Tori – The Wiggles are great! Until it’s time 2,567 in a row. Then, not so great.

Jill – I never even noticed that! What is that all about?! lol

  5. Julie, yes it could be worse. She could be singing something by Lil Wayne. Or Eminem. LOL

  6. Oh my goodness! Yeah that would drive me up the wall as well. 🙁 I remember when PB&J Time was first popular and even the middle school and high school kids were singing it and I just couldn’t figure out the big deal…and now it’s stuck in my head. I should start singing it out loud and doing the dance the banana dance!

  7. Evolet – I’m sure it’s only a matter of before she’s singing that instead… *sigh*

Deanna – I had never heard PB&J before this. It’s the most annoying song EVER! Sorry it’s stuck in your head now…and mine. 😉
